There's a possibility that four quarterbacks will be drafted in the first round
of this year's NFL Draft. Which QB do you think will be drafted first?

Connor Cook, Michigan State
Jared Goff, California
Paxton Lynch, Memphis
Carson Wentz, North Dakota State

Cleveland needs a quarterback and has the second pick. San Francisco (7th) and
Los Angeles (15th) pick are also in need of new QB blood.

Who goes first and what team selects him?

Cleveland looks like it might bite on RGIII... But I would like to see Lynch to go first then Wentz, Goff and Cook

Cleveland may just be the worst judge of quarterback talent in NFL history....considering
their last QB selections.

They should forget about drafting a QB and select some good players that can help the
team for years. The Browns will be awful next year and the season after. Start building
a foundation and worry about a QB later.

My take and welcome yours..........................

I dont think Cleveland drafts a QB with the RG3 signing. They have have a bad history so they would be wise to draft the best defensive player or OT. Dallas at number 4 has a chance to grab a QB but Romo will be back so I think they go with a free agent to back him up. They probably go RB, OT or D . The next 2 picks for QB is Philly and SF. Both of them could likely draft a QB in the first round. Sam Bradford is serviceable at best and made of glass. SF will draft one. Then we have the Rams, Texans and Denver who could all draft one. Denver picks last so I think they pass on QB. Sanchez isnt the answer but the top 4 will likely be gone.

Wentz or Goff will be the first one taken.

Agree. Teams should build a solid defense firstly and find a young QB with talent second. Brady went #199 in the 6th round. There's a lot more to it than just natural talent. The draft for a franchise QB is largely a crap shoot. Denver did have Manning when they won the SB but people forget that he really didn't have one of his best seasons. For a long time he was like 29-32 in the league in QB rating and passing yards.

How could Clev pick so many bad QBs and other players? Just maybe the reason could be 1: playing in Cleveland, 2: Cleveland doesn't know how to groom a QB. Expectations are that they will immediately win games.

I agree with other posters here.... Build a defense first. Then worry about a QB

a good defense over a good offense all day long. Look at Denver this last SB. All defense.

I think the hype train is coming back to Jared G from California. Small hands, but frightening good accuracy, played against decent competition in the Pac. Wentzs is probably impressing more off film, but I am going to bet Goff ends up on the Rams. Of course, this is wildly speculative. The more interesting question is who gets the other QB, and when. ANd also, what the hell does Denver and the NYJ do at the position.

I have a feeling Elway will stick to his guns and take the BPA at #31, unless for some reason Paxton Lynch is available. Even if Lynch is there, I don't really see him as a day 1 starter so it looks like Sanchez is the likely starter right now, but he will have to win the job. What's crazy is that Sanchez might actually be an upgrade to what the Broncos had at the QB spot last year considering Manning was running on fumes and just a shell of his former self physically. I would not be surprised if Elway pulls off a draft day deal for Kaep given that they have already agreed to compensation on the trade with the 49ers, but I guess it depends on if the 49ers draft a QB (maybe Lynch is their guy?) Seems kinda early for him though and likely a reach. Broncos have shown interest in Cook, Prescott, Hogan, so they are likely to select at least on QB somewhere in this draft, that looks to be a given.
