    focus:
You are absolutely right. Came to those conclusions about 1.5 years ago. Only live games for me and I do quite well at them. I take my live beats better than most because I have faith in the game when it is live and taped and regulated. Bad beats and ridiculously frequent bad beats happen so much more on the net that no other conclusion than the one you made can be made.
It would be great if these poker sites would be satisfied with just taking their honest rake and dealing a fair game but, human nature being what it is, their owners will steal all they can if not checked by any type of regulation. No checks and no regs and no play from me.

I played at poker stars for a bit ......... . Only place i ever played where getting kK or AA made me nervous. I left when i realised that power hands delt to me were going to lose.

Out of the 100 times i was delt AA i think i only won 20 % of the time. Out of the 100 times i was delt KK i think it might have won like 5 times.

So power doesnt seem to win there and i felt that it emboldens people to go all in with any pp because AA does not hold up here.

Poker stars where the donks win ...lol

I do not believe your 20% and 5% win rates with AA and KK. I doubt there are many others here who do either. Selective memory at its finest.

    I'm just sayin

I can't believe the results of this poll...although I guess that losing players will rationalize in any way possible.

The 20% win rate over 100 samples of AA or KK is an absolute joke.

Played the $11+r to get into the Million Dollar this afternoon.

With about 280 players left, the Big Tourny Starts in less than an hour. This Re-Buy tourny has to finish before that so players get tickets into the Million Dollar.

So Im seeing flush, straight, runner, runner winners every hand. Im sitting about 100th with $12,000 chips and I get JJ. Some other guy raises $5000 and I call.

FLop comes JQK. I got trip JJJ ... cant lose right ? I go all in, and he calls. I know what he has before his cards turn over ... A 10.

This place is too funny. People keep saying its not rigged, but when you look at these re-buy tournys that have to finish by a certain time, the winnings hands that come out are just too funny.

Flush, Straight, Trips, Full House every hand. So how random is this ????

Best of luck to those who are playing in the Million this aftermoon. Would have been nice.

    PokerStars!

2 Times In a row, get beat by Runner, Runner to finish the player off. Time to take another break from this BS.
Good luck to everyone playing the the Million Dollar Today.

Whoever said "selective memory" hit the nail on the head. A-A is supposed to win, so when it does, it doesn't register in our brain. However, when it's cracked, it stands out in our memories.

No way these sites are rigged. Some people see a conspiracy under every rock.

PokerStars seems legit to me but I've only logged about 10 hours so far.

There have been other rooms I thought were not legit cause I was a huge fav and kept losing, but I'm starting to believe I just wasn't as good of a player as I thought. I was about as easy to read as could be.

So guys hitting Runner, Runner or hitting their card with less than 6 outs 75% of the time when I play, I guess I should be reading that ?

So why is it that when time becomes a factor in these re-buy tournaments, as in they must finish by a certain time for players to play in the big tournament, do I always see miracle suck outs, runner runner, flush FH Straight almost every hand ?

myth. if the game does not finish in time they get a ticket to the next big event right? Also what happens if you totally slow play when it gets close to the next tourney time?

You are correct sir, in they might get tickets to next weeks tourny but ..... I have yet to see that happen.

It's just funny that 7 out of 10 hands (70%) I see trips (usually 2 to 6's), straight, flush or full house. Now that's just at the table I'm playing at.

Would love to see the actual winning hands from all the tables the last hour from these re-buy tournaments. I bet the results would surprise alot of people.

Next time you think about it post these last minute hands so we can judge for ourselves. I am reluctant to believe a 70% number without seeing the cards. I am not calling you a liar, but I know how frustrations can cause exaggerations

PSTARS is definately not random. Unless you consider randomly getting fvcked out of your money everytime you are the favorite as random....

I had played at PSTARS up until late 05, and just got sick of it. Like someone else said, I don't think its rigged to favor anyone player. However if you think the flops are NORMAL and not juiced you are a retard.

put me on the retard list then... making a comment like that makes you look really bad unless you have facts to back them up.

Terps I of course don't think you are a retard.

HOWEVER. The fact that I have logged over 100,000 hands there over the course of 3 years I think is a large enough sample size.

Here are some statistics for you.

How my starting cards held up.

AA- Dealt (2782 times) Win percentage (47 percent)
KK- Dealt (3417 times) Win percentage (53 percent)
QQ- Dealt (3210 times) Win percentage (64 percent)
AK suited- Dealt (6741 times) Win percentage (74 percent)
AQ suited- Dealt (7124 times) Win percentage (63 percent)

Now here is where it gets interesting.

67 suited- Dealt (7012 times) Win percentage (68 percent)
77- Dealt (2954 times) Win percentage (58 percent)
1010- Dealt (3102 times) Win percentage (67 percent)

Now over the course of 100k hands 77 has held up better then AA. So has AK, KK, QQ, 1010,AQ AND even 67 suited.

They seem to recycle the funds to the poorer players in order to keep them playing. This makes perfect sense. I am not pulling these numbers out of my rear end here.

This is the most accurate statement I have seen on this thread.

wow very impressive stats. by no means do i think you are making this up. guess my only question is how this is done. for instance is this just the numbers based on the hand dealt to you and the outcome. if you are dealt 77 and the flop is 3 overs, you would prob fold. does this count as a losing hand with 77? if this is all based on 2 guys all in preflop then no arguing can be made with those stats.

The statistics are from all situations combined. Whether a raise was made preflop with 77 and everyone folded. Or if someone called and there was a showdown. Of course I only have statistics for hands I was dealt and what was shown on the board for an all in or showdown.

Still not saying Stars is rigged, but I've lost in 11 straight tourney allins, all where I've had the lead, all lost on the river. 11 and counting. Starting to really piss me off. My AQ suited just went down to AJ suited, on the river once again.

Knocked out of two more tournies all-in preflop.

A6 just lost to 63. KK lost to 44 a few minutes before. Horrible run.
