Vishwash Kumar Ramesh was the sole survivor of the Air India Boeing 787 crash, according to India Today. Ramesh, 40, says there was a loud noise after takeoff. “Thirty seconds after take off, there was a loud noise and then the plane crashed. It all happened so quickly,” he said to the Hindustan Times. “When I got up, there were bodies all around me. I was scared. I stood up and ran. There were pieces of the plane all around me. Someone grabbed hold of me and put me in an ambulance and brought me to the hospital.” Vishwash is a British national and was visiting family in India. He was reportedly sitting towards the front in seat 11A.

Only one survivor, you would think there would be more. If one survived and actually ran out of the plane, how could every else die?

I believe it, just seems surreal. From the way the plane was descending, you would think more survived

Must be deaths on the ground too
