I hope the Stars close this out tonight for my series bet. Don’t want to have to worry about multiple game 7’s, as I already have to worry about Florida tomorrow. Hellebucyk has been shaky on the road all playoffs. Let’s hope he stays true to form and we get a nice 4-2 Dallas win. GL

Stars to win series (-110), 1*
I really don’t have anything I want to bet for the series in Panthers/Hurricanes. I think it’s a toss-up and it’s lined as such. As for the Stars, I have thought they are going to win the Stanley Cup from the jump. I have bet them to win every series and I’m going to continue that in this one. I will update later if I have a bet on tonight’s game.

Rare two unit bet for me. I think this is a must win game for Carolina. They are not beating Florida in four out of five games, especially with three of those games being on the road. Carolina was lousy in game one and I expect a much better effort tonight. Carolina’s defense is usually very strong as we know and I think they will look to emphasize their physicality by finishing their checks, move Panthers players out of the front of the net and force Florida to attack from the perimeter instead of from the center of the ice. GL

My apologies, didn’t see this disgusting effort from Carolina again tonight. They are playing like a weak-minded team. The gap between these two teams is very small, but you wouldn’t know that based on how Carolina has played over the first four periods. That Svechnikov penalty on Tkachuk was so dumb. Let’s give someone a forearm to the back of the head right in front of the benches. That’s exactly what I’m talking about when I say weak-minded. Svechnikov didn’t like that Tkachuk got him with a back check early in the shift and stupidly tried for retribution with his team already down 2-0. Gross game.

As I’m sure many of you know, McDavid is having a hard time finding the back of the net. He is going to break out at some point this series in my opinion. Once he does, we aren’t going to get +150 to +160 for him to score a goal. GL

As I’m sure many of you know, McDavid is having a hard time finding the back of the net. He is going to break out at some point this series in my opinion. Once he does, we aren’t going to get +150 to +160 for him to score a goal. GL

I think we are going to get a repeat of last year’s result. I trust Bobrovsky more then Skinner in net. I don’t put a lot of stock in home ice advantage in the NHL. Home ice matters less then being the home team in any of the four major sports. This series is going six or seven games and I think Florida’s championship mettle will shine through. They are full of winners from last season, they added Marchand who has won a cup in his career. This should be a really fun series in which I give the edge to Florida. Panthers -1.5 games is interesting, but I’m not going to try and be too cute. Just going to take Florida and be happy whenever they win. Back tomorrow with a game one bet.
