Republicans have supported government spending just as much as Democrats for 40+ years. The big beautiful bill isn't fiscal conservatism, its quite the opposite. No fiscal conservative would add to the ballooning debt the way this bill will.
The party of traditional conservatism is gone, long gone.
Republicans have supported government spending just as much as Democrats for 40+ years.
When politicians say "reduce/eliminate the deficit", what they are really trying to do is slow the rate of the deficit's growth
But this bill will even fail to do that, and even do the opposite. $2.2 trillion per year added to the deficit.
That wouldn't be the case if they slashed military spending in half from the proposed amount, but apparently saving $500 billion isn't "fiscally conservative"

Out of curiosity — if the deficit increases by $1.9 trillion or 2.5 trillion a year instead, will the CBO still be wrong? The $2.2 trillion per year figure will change because it’s a 10-year projection and the Democrats are almost sure going to get a chance to enforce their own agenda in that time frame. You cite the CBO, who's been categorically incorrect about every prediction they ever made (there may be an exception, "maybe"). If they were accurate about anything, then democrats would have legislated utopia by now.
The most important thing we can do is grow the economy, encourage investments to create new jobs, increase real wages. The policies the right espouses are much better at that. We the people, and private enterprises, are the solutions. Joe Biden, AOC, Chucky and Nancy are economic illiterates. Government is not the solution
When are lefties, and greenfruit you are once again talking like a leftie, going to recognize the truth? Will they ever grow up? Will they ever understand the nuances of the truth?
The right has a bunch of idiots too, and all career politicians must go. Stated differently, "drain the swamp". Your boys, the swamp, are kicking and screaming. They love getting rich and lying, and you're enabling them
And as far as projections go, they’re not an exact scienceYou cite the CBO, who's been categorically incorrect about every prediction they ever made (there may be an exception, "maybe"). If they were accurate about anything, then democrats would have legislated utopia by now.
